We had a good turn-out for the first race of the year. The weather was threatening in the morning however the sun came out and it was great. Unfortunately the wind was very shifty. Gust were the norm and at times we were sailing with a reverse wind.
Rob Schaefer and his crew took first place in the C-18 class. Congratulations!
Mike Eisenberg & Bev. Burr were first in the C-14 class. They tied with Bob & Charlie however they won the last race so they received the trophy. The awards were provided by U.S. Sailing Association. Jake Stephens won the Sabot class.
We are expecting more boats for the Olympic Gold on March 7 at the club.
