Winds were gusting 10-20 MPH with an occassional 25MPH.  We lost one C-14.2 because of a malfunction causing it to return to the docks.  Later one boat flipped and the sailors had to be rescued.  A C-18 was lodged among boats and docks at the island. The young Sabot sailors were given a 15 minute head start and then all the other sailboats played catch up. Hundreds of spectators watched and cheered and encourged them. Fifteen junior sailors participated.  Hayden Luff sailed the most laps and his name will be added to the perpetual trophy.  The money raised will be presented to the Westlake Nautical Foundation.
